While Harmony Ridge plays a central role in the lives of Cross Keys Villagers, you’re also likely to find yourself visiting the Nicarry Meetinghouse often. That’s because it’s our largest space for cultural and entertainment events, and it’s our church – in keeping with the Church of the Brethren belief in simplicity and service.
Most community-wide events are held in Nicarry (look at how many of the items in our Calendar of Events are there), and every Sunday morning, our Faith Community worships there (a midweek prayer service also is held). The Church of the Brethren is known for its orientation toward mission and service, and much of that activity – such as food/clothing drives or boxing up school supplies for children in need – also takes place in Nicarry.
For moments of individual peace, there is a meditation room adjacent to Nicarry, and our Pastoral Care staff ministers to the entire community.
